The Kindness Committee

The Kindness Committee is a group of girls in Petaluma ages 11-14, whose mission is to foster kindness in the community by creating public art. Our goal is to inspire kindness, love, hope, and inclusion among children and community members to ensure that kindness remains a priority in Petaluma. These whimsical art installations feature paint, tulle, and recycled materials.

Why Are We Involved?

We are interested in creating an art piece for the Get Out And Vote campaign because it is an opportunity for the youth to express their beliefs through art. We feel that by participating in this community art exhibit, those who are eligible to vote will take action on behalf of the youth in order to create positive change in our country.

Voting is a privilege and a right, and has the potential to influence future generations as well as the ability to impact people in the present.
