You: Portraits of the Most Powerful Nonviolent Tool We Have

Inspired by John Lewis and his quote “The vote is the most important nonviolent tool we have”

This series of portraits conceived by the brother sister duo photographer Michael Woolsey and producer Amy Critchett to be included as another timely component of DEEDS: Art as Action was shot on October 3, 2020, just one month prior to the historic election. The community was asked to express their intent, their feelings, their passion, their concerns and their pride, at this historic moment, about the importance of the vote.
