Inspired by John Lewis and his quote, the Petaluma Arts Center invites any inspired to do so to participate in a socially distanced drop-in experience.

This is a free event and donations are appreciated.

Participants are invited to bring their own t-shirt and create or purchase a VOTE shirt, be in costume or with an artwork or neither. All are invited to sit quietly or scream loudly. Portraits will be taken in the Petaluma Arts Center classroom and will be on view in an online gallery as part of DEEDSgetoutandvote.art. The photos will also be available for participants to download.

Local audio artist Andy Sewell will be recording participants’ thoughts on what voting means to them. The recorded audio will be matched with the images captured by Michael Woolsey and then released as 'audio-grams' on Instagram under @audioephemera.

Get Out And Vote artworks will be on view; postcards, posters and lawn signs available to purchase.

DJVal will be spinning her "Power to the People" playlist and we’ll have life music from Dirty Cello beginning at 11am!
